You might have seen different walls among which is the greatest, longest and the most famous , the Great Wall of China, but you have never heard of a wall that plays music. The Court of Water is unique Blue Wall that is situated in Dresden, a small German city. It is the creation of Artists Annette Paul, Christopher Rossner, and Andre Temple . The idea has been taken from St. Petersburg’s Rainy Theater.
The front of the wall is painted in blue and green and extraordinary metal down spouts are fitted that allows you to hear the music in the shopping and recreational area. Court of Mythical Creatures and the Court of Metamorphosis are some other interesting installations.
Although, this small German city has been adversely affected during the World War II but it is rich in green and 60% of its metropolitan area is covered in greenery. The city is also sometimes called as the Jewel Box because of the magnificent assortment of Baroque and Rococo architecture. But the wonderful music playing wall is a must see.
