1. Diamond Planet

Diamond Planet is the most amazing space wonder you have ever heard of. Though scientists have studied and discovered almost 700 real planets outside the solar system but this Diamond Planet is one of its kinds and is composed largely of crystalline carbon, or diamond. Its scientific name is PSR J1719-1438 b. It used to be a red star but with the passage of time it transformed into a planet. At first there were two stars. One was supernova-ed and other was pulsing small star. Later the pulsing star was left with carbon and the perfect space conditions allowed the carbon to convert it into diamond. The Diamond Planet was first observed by a team headed by Matthew Bailes in 2009 and exposed to the world on August 25, 2011
2. Gigantic Space

New found Blob is another space wonder that will amaze you. It is the biggest known object in the space. It is composed of gasses. The light from this Blob took 12 billion years to reach the earth and scientists were able to discover it with their telescopes. It is estimated to have existed since Big Bang. It is composed of cluster of galaxies with a core at the center and the three jellyfishy like tentacles expanding out into space.
3. Huge Star

Sun is known to be the biggest star of Earth up till now. It is estimated to be about 109 times larger than the Earth. However, a star much bigger than Sun has been discovered by scientists. The star VY Canis Majoris is almost 1,500 times bigger than our Sun and the Sun appears like a dot as compared to this Star when seen in a telescope. It is a red star and measures about 1.7 billion miles in diameter. The light of this star takes about eight hours to reach its other side. This huge Star is about 4,900 light-years far away and scientists are still discovering other facts about it.
4. Giant Rain Cloud

You must have enjoyed drain and seen rain clouds but not like this giant Rain Cloud that has been recently discovered in space by the Scientists. It is the biggest reservoir of floating space water vapors in space and is estimated to have 40 trillion times more water than all of the oceans on earth. However, the water cloud is 10 billion light-years away so, scientists need not to worry. What is disturbing is the formation and physical appearance of this black cloud. It seems that these vapors are coming out of Black hole and a giant rain cloud is forming. Still speculations and observations are being made by scientists about this rain cloud.
5. Coldest Star

Mostly stars in the universe are red hot. Our Sun is said to be the hottest star with about 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit. But a unique star has been discovered by scientists that is the coldest Star. WISE 1828+2650 has a temperature of only 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Actually WISE 1828+2650 is a collection of cold stars known as brown dwarfs. These stars are small and don’t have enough mass. So, hydrogen fusion is not possible and energy cannot be released.
